北海道及び本州から記載されたが、日本に広く分布すると思われる。寄主植物はコブシやホオノキなどのMagnolia属。

This species was described from Hokkaido and Honshu and is probably widespread in Japan. It breeds on the leaves of Magnolia species [Magnoliaceae], including M. kobus and M. obovata.
